After Berkeley, Jeff received his Masters of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University in 2007. Since then he has been a Public Services Librarian at Sacramento City College, where he teaches students to use library resources, oversees library services to satellite campuses in Davis and West Sacramento, administers research databases, coordinates online reference services, selects materials in a variety of subject areas, and works on educational technology issues. He frequently uses his Russian with SCC’s large immigrant student population, and relies on the critical and imaginative sensibility he breathed in Berkeley to make sense of his surroundings, with mixed results.
